Labour Market and Workers’ Rights Statistics in Palestine | PLRO
We monitor Palestinian working life through data and indicators on the labour market, workers’ rights and labour violations, turning them into knowledge that helps understand challenges and support rights protection and decent work.

Employment by economic activity
The chart shows the distribution of employed people in the West Bank by economic activity in Q4 2025. Each bar is a share of total employment, rather than a percentage change between 2023 and 2025.
These shares describe the composition of employment at one reference period. They do not, by themselves, measure growth or decline over time.
Unemployment trends in the West Bank, 2023–2025
The data show a clear shift in the labour market since late 2023, with a sharp rise in unemployment during 2024.
Despite a gradual decline during 2025, unemployment remained high compared with levels before the increase.
